To fulfill the place of key role player in real estate sector in the state and to provide affordable houses with best quality Chhattisgarh Housing Board was formed in the year 2004. With the motto to facilitate “houses for all”, Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CGHB) was constituted in 12th February 2004 under the Chhattisgarh Housing Board act 1972. Chhattisgarh housing Board began its journey as a autonomous body with limited resources and nothing much to count but over the years, slowly yet steadily, the board has gone on to cross the milestones of success, beginning a whole new housing revolution in state. Touching new heights of success, Board has not only formulated various housing schemes for state but also implemented the same with expertise, for maximum satisfaction of customers. With much concern for overall social development, CGHB has taken utmost care to chalk out the schemes as per the housing needs of different sections of society. Specialized Housing schemes are being operated for different income groups, so that every individual of state can avail the housing facility at an affordable price.

Other than catering the housing needs of people from all section of society, CGHB providing affordable housing facilities to the people of economically weaker section (EWS) and lower income group (LIG) has always been the priority of CGHB. With dedicated efforts in the direction, CGHB has made a mark in providing quality and affordable housing facility with necessary infrastructure to the homeless/needy people of state. Board’s Atal Vihar Yojna, Atal Awas Yojna & Deendayal Awas Yojna for economically weaker section and lower income group has been appreciated at national level. CGHB has also bagged with Many National level awards for its exemplary work in the field of providing housing facility with basic infrastructure to the poor section of the society. But, the journey has just begun. Chhattisgarh Housing Board believes that yet, there is a lot to be done… a lot more hearts are there to be won. 1, 02,113 houses have been constructed in last 15 years. 85% of these houses have been built for EWS & LIG section of the society.
